Throughout her years of experience, Cherisse has developed a strong knowledge of the industry’s products and processes and has been successful in managing and maintaining account relationships at the Principal Financial Group – National Accounts. In this position, she functioned as the lead consultant for Self-Insured Clients where she planned the coordination and implementation of new clients while maintaining an ongoing relationship servicing the daily needs of her existing customers. In addition to her account management there, she oversaw the day to day administrative functions of the COBRA and Eligibility departments.

Following her tenure at the Principal, she worked with a general agency, Rogers Benefit Group, as a broker liaison where she met Steve Russell. Cherisse and Steve have maintained a strong working relationship which developed into a long lasting friendship. Steve has always admired Cherisse’s work ethic because she understands the value of personal attention and is committed to her resolve in assuring quality client care in all avenues of customer service through her unique abilities to target the tough issues and always bring a fine balance to the client satisfaction equation.

Outside of work, Cherisse is an active member of True Vine Baptist Church. She participates as a Youth Advisor and assists in coordinating the Women’s Ministry. With all of the issues that we face in today’s society, she is grateful for the time she can give back to the community.
